We are from NY. We took the truck to a Chevy dealer in Washington for an oil change and tire rotation, while we were there they said our breaks were getting bad...and Quoted us $1400.00 to start. we decided to wait till we got to Reno and bite the bullet and get them changed..these mountains towing this 5th wheel we didn’t want to take chances...so we took it in this morning. Rented a car and left the truck in their hands. We got a call two hours later, they went through the truck and breaks and said. “Not sure why they said your breaks are bad, they are still like new” thanks so much for the speedy job, honesty and great customer service.

I haven't had any work done yet, but I did decide to have them do it so I'll know Monday, but I am confident I will be happy. Just my initial experience was confidence inspiring. I feel that I have found a knowledgeable and honest shop, who truly guarantees their work. Also, I love that I can spend my money at a local place who cares about community. *Update* This place is great! They are very knowledgeable and back their work up with a roadside guarantee, so they'll reimburse you for a tow even if what's broken isn't what they worked on! They also provide pictures of the work before and after. There is so much I like about this shop, I can't even list it all. It's so worth taking your vehicle here.

Rochelle, Vince and the rest of the team at Co Auto were so unbelievably friendly and helpful. I was told during an oil change last week at a quick lube shop that my ‘15 chevy spark was most likely leaking antifreeze and I needed to get it checked out immediately. I googled car repair in Reno and found Co Auto based on their awesome reviews. I called Co Auto to see how soon I could get a diagnosis, and they told me to come in that afternoon. They diagnosed my car within 24 hours, wrote up an extremely detailed report including pictures (even took an action shot during the pressure test and circled the leak and drew an arrow to it!) and texted me with a link to the report with an invoice and price breakdown. They called me within minutes of sending the report to discuss my options. Rochelle made me feel like I was their top priority - and I was a walk in! She then helped me work with my warranty group and went out of her way to make sure I could get my car back as soon as it was finished. I cannot say enough good things about this shop...I will never go anywhere else for work on my car! Went because of the reviews, stayed for the good vibes and service :)

I say this without any hyperbole, this is the best mechanic I have ever been lucky enough to stumble across. The staff are incredible, fun and enthusiastic, they tell you every price up front and are actively trying to charge you LESS money. The fact that it doubles as an art gallery for local up and coming artists is an unbelievable bonus. They fixed my 4Runner on the day and even cleaned it!!! Make an appointment, do yourself a favour and make some friends. 12/10 would recommend.

The team was very welcoming. They sat and explained what they were going to do and why with me, even when it was time for them to be closing up. The technician even came out and shook my hand. They are respectful of you as a customer and did a wonderful 60,000 tune up on my Subaru.

These guys are not cheap. Any place with an art gallery in the front is never going to be cheap. My wife's car is a Land Rover. I'm not rich and probably have no business owning that car. But I digress. So I needed some work done and some other work re-done because I didn't trust the first mechanic's work. I took it to these guys and they got the work done. The office staff was super awesome and kept me informed via phone. They have an automated email system for signing off on services you may need (another sign that I can't afford these guys). They sell the heck out of diagnostics and they charge a lot for it too, but I know my vehicle takes a while when you're in the computer. Overall I'd say I like these guys a lot. They do charge a bit more than I can afford but they were super cool and they got the job done. They did try to sell me a couple extra services, but they weren't pushy when I declined. Up selling is a sign of a proactive staff that cares about keeping the business open. Those are the kind of people I want working on my wife's car. So in summation, I will be back to co, if I can afford it. Thanks guys!
