Worst experience ever. Brought my car in for transmission slippage. They said they couldn't fix it. Went to drive it home and the battery was dead, car overheated, and the oil light came on on the 7 mile drive home. Cost me $125 for them to completely destroy my vehicle. The response received here is a complete fabrication. Considering I drove the vehicle in the battery obviously worked and the radiator was not leaking and I absolutely did not have oil leaking either. I simply brought it in because my Transmission was slipping. Apparently, in the course of their "inspection" they ruined my battery, drained my oil and radiator fluid. I am appalled by these lies since I simply left an honest review and didn't sue them for damages as I was encouraged to do. My car had recently had extensive work done, because I had jumped a curb and I have all the paperwork from that shop stating the vehicle was in fine condition with the exception of the transmission only 2 months prior. Again, the fact that I drove the car into this terrible shop for repairs should show that my battery, oil and radiator was fine prior to leaving it.
Hello Charity, being a caring and compassionate man I am sorry you feel we have caused all the issues to your vehicle, I am also honest and your vehicle arrived to us in a horrible condition. I have reviewed your inspection thouroghly and we clearly stated the battery condition as well as your coolant issue and oil concern. You chose to drive the vehicle from our shop, prior to any repairs being done. I can share the link (again) of the inspection if that will help you understand why your vehicle is in need of maintenance and to the extent of maintenance it needs. Please remember we are here to help you get your car back on the road, & we are not responsible for your lack of maintenance. We did everything in our power to keep you satisfied. Here is the repair order notes word for word. * Customer states she hit a curve and pulled some wires from front passenger side. Ever since transmission went into limp mode/ check engine went on /code p16841. Transmission will not go out of 1st gear. Please check and advise. *Tech Notes: Upon arrival found car had a leak, and no movement. Had to put 2 qts atf in car to get to move. Wires customer is talking of are for horn and lights. Need socket, bulb, and connector for turn signal, housing is possibly damaged. Need to see if socket fits. Need connector for horn. Will need some length of wires to perform repairs. Inspected transmission and leaks. Found trans pan had some seepage, but main leak is cooler line from external cooler to radiator. Radiator is also leaking badly. Would not recommend repairing car as I would be unable to confirm the extent of transmission damage without doing repairs. I truly hope you can reflect on your review and see that we are not the bad guys here. I understand its frustrating when your car breaks down and leaves you stranded, but please remember we only want to help. Have a blessed day, and good luck to you. Co-Owner of CoAuto Vinnie Lucido
